Colorful tumblr theme
Here’s one of the coolest tumblr themes I’ve seen so far:
The little colorful block on the right is actually a color chooser, filled with some really nice color scheme choices.?? I’ve e-mailed the site owner to see if they will share how that was accomplished, and if I find out, I’ll share it here.

Why don’t you just take a look at the code? It looks like the Javascript generates a link to a css stylesheet that’s really a dynamic page in php that changes based on its query string.
So that trick won’t work unless you’ve got a server to run php on. But, of course, you could replicate the trick in Javascript.

Simen’s good. It is primarily javascript with a PHP backend. So, yes, you would need to have a server that can process PHP in order for it to work. Or figure out how to do color transformations in javascript (no fun, really)
I can share the PHP with anyone who wants it.. it is very simple and just spits out CSS.
The commenting system, too, is javascript with a PHP backend. All available to anyone who asks me nicely.
